Thinking back to when I moved to the Gatlinburg area some 15 years ago, I thought that it would be useful to create a map of some of the places you need to be able to find if you are new to any community. For people who are actually moving here as well as those who have decided to purchase Gatlinburg area real estate, this map will hopefully be helpful. It lists most of the various utility companies, the major wireless phone stores (in my opinion, Verizon is the company that has the best Sevier County coverage), grocery stores (I like Food City and Krogers), as well as the city and county government offices as well as some other places like our new state of the art library.
