I mentioned earlier this week that it wouldn’t take long for 2013’s residential sales tally to surpass 2012’s total and it has happened already. Based on current results (shown below), 2013 has now surpassed 2012’s total without even considering any of the sales that have already occurred in December. Give the fact that there are almost always more transactions closed during the last few days of any month than there are in the first few, it is remarkable that there have already been 21 sales recorded by Gatlinburg area real estate agencies during these first 6 days of December. This may mean that we have a super December on the way. Should make a lot of real estate agents and brokers (including this one!) a little happier as we get closer to Christmas and New Year’s Day.
