For eight years I have faithfully posted each month’s residential sales numbers reported by the agents in our Great Smoky Mountain Association of Realtors. Except for January 2014’s report which unfortunately I just overlooked! The sad thing is that January 2014 was a REALLY good month for our Smoky Mountain area, the best results for any January since 2007. Nine percent above the strong numbers reported in January 2013, the new year is off to a great start. Here is the updated table of Gatlinburg area residential real estate sales numbers:
