We are pleased to welcome back tourists to Sevier County! Just as I was driving around our town yesterday, I saw tags from each of these states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Conneticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Lousiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virgina, and Wisconsin. That is 31 out of 50 states that were seen in our small county on a Thursday afternoon. Many locals have been worried about the overall impact that COVID-19 would have on the economy. However, if this week is any indication of how tourist season will be in Sevier County for the 2020 season, we will be okay!
